Our Technical Department is realizing various tests, during and after producing the Lenses and also the Frame. During the process of producing the glasses, there are observed practical aspects about the parameters which have to posses these Lenses. At the same time all the products which do not fulfil the quality exigencies are destroyed.
Dr. Jesus Echarri, licenced in Pharmacy and Optics, guarantees the acomplishment of all the laws in the field of Reading Glasses and Sunglasses. His job is to establish the protocol for realizing all the test for our Glasses, of organical material and aspherical (reduced thikness):
- Spherical power and its differences between both Lenses, according to the tolerance.
- Lack of cylindircal power, according to the tolerance.
- The qualilty of the material of each lens: lack of bubbles, lines or possible marks.
- Checking out the absence of pressure through a polarizer.
- Optical quality of the Lens.
- Asymmetry between both the half of each glass.
- Difference of the balance between Lenses, according to the symmetry axis.
- Difference of transmission.
- Resistance of the Lenses to the impact.
- Resistance of the Lenses to the scratches.
In Productos Loring S.A.U., we follow completely all the Laws in the field, which legalize the production, the distribution and the commercialization of Reading Glasses. The Law that prevails to us is The Royal Decree 1591/2009 from October, 16th, of the Health Ministry, which regulates medical devices, transposition of Directive 2007/47/EC of the European Parliament and the European Council.
